  for a tour of their race workshop where they run

  Audi, Mercedes and McLaren racecars in TCR and GT4 Categories.

  Zac Soutar will talk through the best lines to take when driving Sandown, Phillip

  Island, Winton and The Bend. A great way to see on a large screen, in car footage

  and hear from one of the best professional drivers and driver coaches in Australia.

  There will be time to get up close and personal with both GT4 and TCR Racecars.

  The event will be held at the new premises of Team Soutar Motorsport near Geelong

  1. Please enter the BMW Car Club of Vic Inc as your "club" in your profile on the Motorsport Australia/CAMS portal. The MSCA prioritise entrees based on associate member car clubs which BMWCCV is one.

  This event last year was one of the major highlights of the MSCA/BMWCCV calendar. We shared an amazing circuit in a resort like venue. The dinner was a great way to come together and share the experience. For those that came last year please come again. Those that missed out, make sure you come this year.

  Event description

  The team at Lang Lang Proving Ground and BMWCCV are excited to invite BMWCCV members to a driving experience at a functioning automotive proving ground, in your own car!

  The Lang Lang Proving Ground was operated by Holden from 1957 all the way through to 2020 when it was sold to Electric Vehicle start up VinFast. Its history is rich and varied and it has some of the world’s best facilities to this day.

  This event will be limited to a maximum of 40 drivers.

  All vehicle types are welcome.

  Planed Schedule for the day:

  8.00 am               Arrive and organise at gate,

  Due to numbers, participants will split into 3 groups across various activities including Motorkhana style activities, Slalom events, Go to Whoa , skid pan driving

  12:30pm                Lunch.

  Various tours around proving ground facilities

  4:00pm                    Last group exit

  (Schedule may vary under certain circumstances)
  

  
  

  Driver Obligations:

  - Drivers required to hold a current drivers licence

  - Motor Vehicles to be road registered, roadworthy and fit for purpose

  - Please note, this is NOT a Motorsport event hence all driving will be under strict supervision

  - Ensure fit to participate, no influence from any substances 

  - No loose items in the vehicle when participating

  - Helmets must be worn in vehicles with a roll cage

  - This event is run by the BMW Club of Victoria for members. As such members are obligated to comply with the Road Safety Rules, but in addition all members drive in a courteous manner, being considerate to other participants and VinFast organizers. Walking pace around pedestrians

  - All participants are required to complete the attached indemnity form and bring on the day. INDEMNITY FORM

  Location:

         - There are no amenities whilst awaiting entry so a stop at the BP Caldermeade is recommended for a toilet break, refueling etc

         - Enter Rayner Hoff drive and continue to the end, you will directed from there

          - Arrive at Security ~15 minutes early. Don’t arrive too early.

          - Bring water, hat, jackets, chairs, sunscreen, aeroguard etc

           - Prices include catering for lunch with tea & coffee throughout the day

           - $245 per vehicle with one driver only.  Additional $45 per passenger

  • Max 75db strictly policed by venue staff
  • Passenger seat and harness (or suitable seat belts) for in car tuition
  • Suitable brake pad material and fluid for high performance driving

  About Evolve Driving

  Evolve Driving instructors are seasoned motorsport participants of varying levels including International and Supercars. Most have also completed a High Performance Driver Education certificate - a qualification becoming recognized worldwide as the benchmark for the Driver Training industry.

  Evolve Driving instructors are chosen not just for the race experience but for their ability to analyse, articulate and demonstrate optimum driving techniques.

  Lap times are not used for judging driver progression, the focus is on technique and awareness. This helps drivers make real Performance Driving improvements that will benefit them on all circuits.

  Small drive group sizes and running 20 min sessions is the best format to give everyone minimal on-track traffic allowing them to learn without pressure from faster cars or frustration from slower cars.

  This is so much more than a track day, it's a great investment in your on track performance!

  When or immediately after returning the equipment:

  c) Confirm the returned equipment's status

  These instructional videos cover BMW cars from the 80's to mid 90's. They are reproduced from VHS tapes the club has collected over many years, hence the average video quality.

  It would be appreciated if these 54 videos are not copied and distributed to others.

  The BMWCCV takes no responsibility for the use of these BMW Service Information Programs (SIPs) and the maintenance information contained in the videos.

  How to View a video

  1. LOG IN as a member

  2. Click the REGISTER button

  3.  Your membership details will be displayed

  4. Click the link/s for the video/s that you wish to view

  5. You can PREVIEW any video before selecting others

  6. CHECK THE BOX for video links to be EMAILED

  7. Click CONFIRM registration

  8.  You will be emailed links to all the YouTube videos that you've selected.

  The videos range in length from 20 to 35+ minutes.

  2027 BMW CLUBS AUSTRALIA NATIONALS

  The 2027 BMW Clubs Australia Nationals is a bi-annual event aiming to bring together BMW enthusiasts from across the country.

  It is run under the umbrella of BMW Clubs Australia.

  In 2027, it will be hosted by the BMW Drivers Club NSW at Bathurst between the 18th to 21st March 2027, so save the date.
