Calling for BMWCCV members to train for the MSCA Flag Marshalling team

The Marque Sports Car Association Vic (MSCAV) is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers which has become a leading provider of sprint events in Victoria.

The MSCAV consists of 14 affiliated clubs including the BMWCCV.

The MSCAV provides a cost-effective way for member clubs to participate in 8 super sprints annually that are held at various race circuits throughout Victoria.

The MSCAV are calling for additional volunteers for their flag marshalling team.

There already exists a great foundation of around 16 members and to keep this sustainable, we need to get a stable group of at least 20 volunteers.

New flaggies do not need experience as free training is provided.  We are very happy to have people who are enthusiastic and keen to become involved in our sport.

We are also putting the call out to drivers who, for whatever reasons, are not able to commit to a season of sprinting and who are willing to help out and give back to the MSCAV.  This also extends to committee members.

You don’t have to be available for every round; even supporting a couple of events per year helps enormously.

Volunteering as a flaggie is a great way to get up close to the action and enjoy a fun day of motorsport with some of the best track views ever.

If you would like more information contact MSCAV President, Bruce Astbury on 0419 353 011 or email presidentmsca@msca.net.au or your MSCAV delegate, David Lumb, BMWCCV Motorsport/Driver Training on 0409 535 727
