  We have two F80 M3 cars entered with owner/drivers Ken Christie and Thor Essman. Ken will be supported by a pit crew team of BMWCCV members.
  

  Saturday will include practice and qualifying sessions. Sunday is where it all comes together when the Winton 300 gets underway. 
  

  So, come along for one or both days, enjoy the great atmosphere of an endurance event, support the BMW drivers and watch how the pit crew handle the pressure of pit stops throughout the day.

  Session Times:

  • Australian standards approved helmet
  • Car in road /track worthy condition
  • Max 75db strictly policed by venue staff
  • Passenger seat and harness (or suitable seat belts) for in car tuition
  • Suitable brake pad material and fluid for high performance driving
  • Standard road licence accepted

  About Evolve Driving

  Evolve Driving instructors are seasoned motorsport participants of varying levels including International and Supercars. Most have also completed a High Performance Driver Education certificate - a qualification becoming recognized worldwide as the benchmark for the Driver Training industry.

  Evolve Driving instructors are chosen not just for the race experience but for their ability to analyse, articulate and demonstrate optimum driving techniques.

  Lap times are not used for judging driver progression, the focus is on technique and awareness. This helps drivers make real Performance Driving improvements that will benefit them on all circuits.

  Small drive group sizes and running 20 min sessions is the best format to give everyone minimal on-track traffic allowing them to learn without pressure from faster cars or frustration from slower cars.

  This is so much more than a track day, it's a great investment in your on track performance!

  Don't delay get your Entry in early to avoid disappointment.

  This is a 2-part registration process

  Overview

  • The BMWCCV in collaboration with the Fiat Car Club are able to offer our members the opportunity to experience Motorkhana driving in a non competitive environment 

  • Designed to test the acceleration, braking and handling of cars and the skill and judgment of drivers
    

  • Motorkhana’s provide fun and enjoyment whilst practicing and learning car control
  • Over-steer and under-steer will be found, but at safe speeds under controlled conditions

  Requirements

  • Financial Member of BMWCCV or need to be signed up as a family member ($50).
  • Introductory Motorsport Licence
  • Juniors from 12 -17 years and Adults 18+
  • Basic ability to operate a vehicle.

  Registration

  1. STEP 1 - First register on this BMWCCV events site. 

  2. STEP 2 -  If you do NOT have Motorsport Australia Licence, you will need to complete the Motorsport Introductory Licence form and take it to the event and pay on the day. Click here to get a copy of the application form for the Motorsport Introductory Licence.

     If you hold a current Motorsport Speed 2 Licence you can go to the Motorsport Australia site and login to your Motorsport Australia dashboard to register for this event.

  This is a fantastic opportunity to improve your driving skills all while driving the Phillip Island GP circuit.

  A DESIGNATED WOMEN AND JUNIOR RUN GROUP

  BMWCCV is offering 10 highly subsidized places at incredible discounts.

  IF SELECTED for a BMWCCV SUBSIDY for the 'Come and Try' day:

  • The event cost will be ONLY $100 for juniors (under 18), and $245 for adults (over 18)
    
  • Need to pay the MSCA advertised fee upfront of $175 (juniors) or $345 (adults) 
  • Be reimbursed AFTER ATTENDING the day by BMWCCV via bank direct deposit

  Full fee paying (non-subsidised) members, family and friends are welcome to attend too.  There is a total of 80 participants. 

  
  

  BMWCCV is participating in this event organised by the Marque Sports Car Association of Vic (MSCA).  

  This event is highly recommended for ALL BMWCCV members who have NOT had ANY previous motorsport sprint experience. 

  • Normal roadworthy cars are acceptable, does not have to be a BMW
  • An introductory Motorsport Australia licence will be processed as part of the entry cost
  • Fire extinguishers are NOT required on this training event
  • Helmets - club has some to borrow, apply early
  • Entrants must be able to drive a car - this is NOT a learn to drive course 
  • Prior attendance at Performance Driver Training is fine but entrants must not have participated previously in timed sprints. 

  For all other requirements and conditions, please refer to the Supplementary Regulations on the Motorsport Australia portal.

  Registration:

  To register for a BMWCCV subsidy and pay for the event is a multi- part registration process:

  1. STEP 1  First register on this BMWCCV events site. 
     
     

  2. STEP 2  If you have NOT registered for any Motorsport Australia track events before, you will need to complete some profile questions and will be emailed a Motorsport Australia login and password. If you need one, Click here to register a new Motorsport Australia profile.

     When you have a Motorsport Australian login, you can register for this MSCA 'Come and Try' event at step 3.
     
     

  3. STEP 3   Go to the Motorsport Australia site again and login to your Motorsport Australia dashboard, click the orange button 'Member Portal' and login, click the 'Event Entry' button. Select the 'Upcoming Events' tab. Next to the 'Club' heading at the top of the table, click the drop down symbol (3 horizontal bars) then scroll down and select 'Marque Sports Car Association Victoria'. Select from MSCA event table 'MSCA All Come and Try Day P I  30 November 2024 . Select the orange 'Enter Event' button and complete your details and finally pay.
     

  Cost:

  Upfront payment of $175 for Juniors, reduced to $100 post event if approved for BMWCCV subsidy.

  Upfront payment of $345 for Adult Club members, reduced to $245 post event if approved for BMWCCV subsidy.

  Priority for subsidies will be based on the applicant NOT having been on a race track before.

  The Geelong Revival Motoring Festival takes place on Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of November 2025.

  Held on Geelong’s picturesque waterfront, this action packed motoring festival is an event not to be missed! Get right among the action, rub shoulders with the drivers and witness over 400 classic and exotic cars and motorcycles sprint down Ritchie Boulevard at full throttle!

  
  

  The club will be displaying member's cars in a prime location beside the Carousel Building.

  This is the best parking spot you will find anywhere near the action!

  This year we are displaying for both Saturday and Sunday.

  You can enter either day or why not come to Geelong for both days,

  stay Saturday night and make a full weekend of fun and all things automotive.

  No qualifications on eligible cars, any age is accepted, as long as they are in presentable condition.

  
  

  You will also need to log onto 

  Shannons Motorshow - Geelong Revival Motoring Festival 

  to register with the event organizers.

  Ensure you enter the club name correctly as BMW Car Club of Victoria

  and enter the Display Area as "Jag Hill (Cunningham Pier)".

  Specify which day you are attending and if attending both days, lodge an entry for each day.

  Entry into the Revival is free.

  Display cars are required to enter as a group and we expect to meet up at about 8 am.

  BMW Car Maintenance Videos 

  These instructional videos cover BMW cars from the 80's to mid 90's. They are reproduced from VHS tapes the club has collected over many years, hence the average video quality.

  It would be appreciated if these 54 videos are not copied and distributed to others.

  The BMWCCV takes no responsibility for the use of these BMW Service Information Programs (SIPs) and the maintenance information contained in the videos.

  How to View a video

  1. LOG IN as a member

  2. Click the REGISTER button

  3.  Your membership details will be displayed

  4. Click the link/s for the video/s that you wish to view

  5. You can PREVIEW any video before selecting others

  6. CHECK THE BOX for video links to be EMAILED

  7. Click CONFIRM registration

  8.  You will be emailed links to all the YouTube videos that you've selected.

  The videos range in length from 20 to 35+ minutes.

  Bathurst 12 Hour Weekend getaway.
  

  
  

  

  The Full package for this event includes:

  • 3 days at an exclusive Pit Garage Corporate Suite including morning and afternoon tea, lunch and beverages. Additionally, breakfast on Sunday.
  • 4 nights accommodation at The Big Trout Motel, Oberon (Check in 12th Feb, Check out 16th Feb. 2026)
  • Sunday evening pizza night.

  Group bookings will be made for the evening meals at a selection of Oberon's finest venues. Note: evening meals and drinks at own cost except Sunday Pizza night.
  

  Packages:

  The price shown for the Corporate Suite is approximate only and based on current year costs plus an allowance for CPI. Final pricing will not be known until later in the year as and when advised by Supercars Corporate Experiences.
  

  Based on 4 nights accommodation the cost for the weekend includes 3 components:
  

  1. Pit Lane Corporate Suit $1,422.00 per person (approximate)
  2. Add optional accommodation type:

  • Queen & Single Room (1 person) $145.00 per night
    
  • Queen & Single Room (2 persons) $165.00 per night
    
  • Queen & Single Room (3 persons) $185.00 per night
    

  We have reserved a limited number of rooms at The Big Trout Motel:

  • 19 only rooms each with a Queen and Single bed

         

  3. Add optional Bus Service:
  

  We have arranged for Sinclair Bus Service to pick us up form The Big Trout Motor Inn in the morning, take us to the track and shuttle us back late afternoon on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The bus can take 25 passengers each day. Daily cost for a return trip is $49.00 TBC per day.

  Getting There:

  Travel mode is at your discretion and cost.

  Options are:

  • Road trip in convoy leaving Wallan BP Truck Stop Outbound

  • Domestic air travel to Bathurst via Sydney

  Payment:

  Because this event is strictly limited to 40 guests and /or room availability an initial payment of $1,422.00 is required on registration to secure your spot. This payment will be used to secure the Corporate Suite. The outstanding balance payment will be advised and required closer to the event once pricing for the corporate suite costs have been finalised by Supercars Corporate Experiences.

  Special Cancellation Conditions:

  Cancellation after any up front payments by BMWCCV to venue / providers will incur scaled cancellation fees.
