COMBINED WITH OUR AGM

All Members, family and friends are invited to join us for an Evening with David Cauchi.
Bentleigh RSL, 538 Centre Rd, Bentleigh.
We are very fortunate to have David Cauchi as our guest speaker at this year’s Club AGM, David will hold a no-holds bar discussion on his experience at working at Triple 8 racing where he worked for 14 years before being poached by Grove Penrite Racing to become their team Principal, a role he currently holds.
David will talk about his experiences of winning several Supercar titles as the Race Engineer for Jamie Whincup and his last role at Triple 8 as the Race Engineer for Shane Van Gisbergen, his discussion will include topics such as working for Roland Dane, what it is like being a Race Engineer for a Championship team, some of the ups and downs in his career and an array of other Motorsport topics including running the Mustang against the Camaro.
This is a unique opportunity to hear David and to be able to ask him questions directly, if you like Motorsport this is a must attend event, and best of all it is free to members.

The Committee is pleased to advise that this year’s AGM will be held in conjunction with the talk by David Cauchi on the 13th of November 2023 at the RSL Bentleigh.
You are cordially invited to join the Committee at 6:00pm for nibbles (at club cost) and drinks (at member cost) prior to the AGM that will start at 6:45pm to be followed by the talk by David Cauchi at 7:30pm. Your attendance will be greatly appreciated. To those members who have already Registered to attend David’s talk, we would encourage you to come early for the nibbles and the AGM.

9th October 2023 Formal Notice of AGM – lists vacant positions and provides nomination forms
29th October 2023 Nominations for Committee and any general business items must be received by the Secretary by 5.00 p.m.
6th November 2023 Final AGM notice and proxy forms distributed
11th November 2023 Proxy forms must be returned to Secretary by 5.00 p.m.
13th November 2023 AGM at 7.00pm
