    Melbourne Cup Long Weekend Highlights

What a massive weekend for our club! Members were out in force across three major events spanning touring, motorsport, and championship racing.

    Bellarine Peninsula Tour

Members enjoyed a fantastic getaway taking in the scenic drives around the Great Ocean Road. Highlights included:

    • A 5-course degustation lunch aboard The Q Train
    • Mini-golf, open garden visits, and a stop at the historic Fyansford Paper Mills
    • Melbourne Cup Day luncheon at House of Jack Rabbit

Based at Curlewis. Huge thanks to Tony for organizing such a memorable and diverse itinerary!

    Rounds 9 & 10 Motorsport Championship | One Raceway

Our drivers headed up to One Raceway near Goulburn, NSW, for a double-header on the newly configured circuit:

    • Round 9 (Clockwise layout)
    • Round 10 (Anti-clockwise layout)

A massive thank you to the MSCA and their dedicated team of volunteers for delivering a flawless two-day event.

Monochrome GT4 Series Finale | Sandown Raceway

The final two races of the Monochrome GT4 Series wrapped up at Sandown over the weekend.

Huge congratulations to our club ambassadors Jacob and Peter Lawrence, alongside the entire Randall Racing team, on a fantastic and hard-fought season!

    SuperSprint Sandown October 18th

A full field of 19 BMWCCV sprinters turned out for Run Group 6, with another four member BMWs competing across Groups 3, 4, and 5! We also had Christos in his Skyline and Brett in his Toyota GT86 joining the action.

    Notable highlights from the track:

    • Welcome back to Alex: Returning in his E46 M3 after spending the last few years on the rally circuit with Elena.

    • M4 GT4 Showcase: Fantastic to see three M4 GT4s out on track, driven by Jacob and Peter (Randall Racing) alongside Keith (Southern BM). Unfortunately due to noise restrictions, the GT4's had to back off the throttle on the main straight

    • Blistering Pace: Hailong in the Southern BM M2 Competition—fresh off a recent Time Attack victory—set an incredible benchmark time of 1:14.725!  Next fastest were Jacob, Peter and Sally-Anne at 1.15+.  Dirk and Jeremy were also well sub 1:20.
